[Scene: Gym. 3 is with her Buddy Blocks, which are motionless]
3: Oh dear, Buddy Blocks. You don't seem very cheerful today. [she looks at her Buddy Blocks] Buddy Blocks? [thinks of an idea] I'd better cheer you up. Little dance?
[3 dances and sings, but the Buddy Blocks don't move]
3: That usually cheers you up. [She stares sadly at her Buddy Blocks] Not very cheerful at all!
[6 is jumping around on the climbing frame]
6: [jumps around] Hello, 3!
3: What are you doing?
6: Oh, just jumping around, jumping around.
[6 jumps down to 3, followed by Puss in Boots]
Puss in Boots: What troubles you, senorita?
3: I'm trying to cheer up my buddy blocks. Actually, they're not very lively today.

[A Woman in an orange top is sitting on a bench with 3 parcels surrounding her. Suddenly, she gets 3 more parcels, and 3 more again, making 9 parcels. She carried the 9 parcels to her house, puts some she's holding in her mouth down, and gets out her keyring with 3 keys on it. Suddenly, her keyring gets 3 more keys, and 3 more again, making 9 keys altogether. The woman, surprised, falls over backwards, dropping the rest of the parcels. 6, 3, and Puss peer around to see it]
6: Oh, Oh!
[6, 3, and Puss head over to the scene]
6: We've got to sort this out!
5: Yes! If 3 things keep getting turned into 9 things, anything could happen!
[2D Cartoon Animation: A Birthday cake with 3 candles gets 3 more, then 3 more again]
5: [Voiceover] If you had a birthday cake for your third birthday, suddenly, you'd have 3 lots of 3, and it would be a cake for a 9 year old!
[The 9 candles are blown out by a blonde-haired girl with the number 9 on a badge on her shirt]
5: [voiceover] Or if Goldilocks was having trouble with 3 bears....
[3 bears chase Goldilocks around the screen, and as that happens, another lot of 3 bears appears, followed by a second lot of 3 bears]
5: [voiceover] Suddenly, it would have to be 'Goldilocks and the... 9 Bears'!
[The 3 lots of 3 bears wave. Then a buggy with 3 babies rolls in, then the 3 babies on it start crying]
5: [voiceover] And having 3 babies is hard enough already. What if you had 3 more, and 3 more?
[2 more buggies, each with 3 crying babies, come behind the first lot of crying babies.]
5: [voiceover] 9 crying babies!
[Fade back to reality]
5: We've got to sort this problem out.
6: What's making everything go wrong?
3: I think I can guess - look!
[The Puzzler appears]
6: The Puzzler!
5: What do we know about him?
4: On screen now!
[Puzzler's Song]
Let me tell you what I'm talking about....
The Puzzler, The Puzzler, he's got a twisted mind
His bubbles mean trouble if you get trapped inside
You'd better start thinking if the Puzzler has got you
Cause if you can't sort the Puzzler out, the Puzzler will sort you

Not Puss in Boots, 6 and 3, but Puss in Boots, and 3, 3, and 3! [Laughs]
3: Well, I'm 3.
Puss in Boots: And I am Puss.... in Boots.
6: But I'm 6. How can we be Puss in Boots, and 3, 3, and 3?
[IN the control room]
4: Sending out an alert. How can Puss in Boots, 3 and 6, become Puss in Boots, and 3, 3, and 3? Anyone who can help us call in now.

5: You've got to do it. We'll send you some Brain Gain to help.
6: OK, if it's got to be done, I, number 6, will become 2 number 3s!

[The Brain Gain machine starts up and the song plays]

[She zaps 6 with Brain Gain, splitting him into 2 yellow threes]
3: Wow! You look... different!
Yellow 3 #1: We feel different.

Princess Fiona: Well, at least this will fill out the Puzzler's requirements.
Puzzler:
Oh, hello, Puss in Boots, and 3, and 3, and 3.
What exactly do you need from me?
Yellow 3 #1: Tell us where 9 is!
Yellow 3 #2: Or there'll be trouble!
Puzzler:
Number 9's here...
[An orange bubble floats into view]
9: [Inside bubble] Help! Help!
Puzzler:
...Trapped in my bubble!
My friends, she stays in there,
Till 9 small squares make 1 BIG square!
5: Anyone got any information about squares?
Agent : Remember the Buddy Blocks.
4: I think I've got a picture.

5: That's 9 small squares.
4: 3 rows of 3, makes 1 big square!
Shrek: Alright!
Puzzler:
Oh, well done, Puss in Boots, and 3 and 3 and 3,
You've made a square and beaten me.
So, as I promised, 9 goes free.
[The bubble bursts, releasing 9, who lands on the table.]
9: That's better!
Puzzler: But I'll be back! [he laughs and bursts]
4: And things are going back to normal!
Numberjacks and Heroes: Yeah!
[At the woman's house, the extra keys and parcels disappear]
5: Come back now, all of you.
Yellow 3 #1: One thing to do first!
Yellow 3 #2: Definitely!
[5 jumps in the Brain Gain Machine again]
5: 2 threes make a 6.
[The Brain Gain strikes 3]
3: 2 threes make 6!
[She zaps the 2 yellow threes, turning them back into Number 6.]
Numberjacks and Heroes: Yeah!
4: Come on back now, all of you!
[Puss jumps into the portal, and 9, 6, and 3 dematerialize and fly through the sky.]
5: All clear for landing!
[9, 6, and 3 fly to the sofa]
Numberjacks & Heroes: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9!
[3, 6, and 9 fly through the hole, and later appear in the control room, alongside Puss in Boots]
5: Well done, everyone!
4: You can see it all on screen!
