Agents, also known collectively as the 1337 Crew (also spelled "l337" or "l33t"), make up the rank-and-file combatants of the A.A.H.W. First appearing in Madness Apotheosis, They are higher-ranking soldiers trained to stop Hank and they can assume many roles in fight: melee fighter, gun fighter and heavy gunner; however, they are often killed as easily as grunts, largely replacing them as the primary canon fodder of the series. They are shown to be more resilient than grunts and rarely back down from combat. The only time they showed weakness was in Madness Combat 7: Consternation where an agent tries to escape by climbing up a ladder, but gets killed with a chainsaw by Hank anyways.
