Akuma's Henchmen[]

Unlike most Tabbyverse villains who abuse their henchmen, Akuma cares for them and usually lets them have anything he does not want.

Love Interest(s)[]

Even before they met, Akuma showed interest in recruiting Voltage due to his reputation as the most dangerous and feared villain in the Tabbyverse. When finally meeting him, he attempted to force him into joining the Nightmare Council, which the latter refused. As Blood Voltage proposed that they duel to decide whether he kept his freedom or submitted to Akuma's will, he accepted it, although he arrogantly claimed he would regret not falling in line.

Once the battle began, he was immediately impressed by the human's power and skills, with Voltage quickly countering, avoiding, and taking minor damage from his attacks. This admiration only continued to grow as Voltage managed to scratch him with his claws, making it the first Akuma had ever been injured in the series proper. As the fight raged on, Akuma lost some power, forcing him into his half-strength form. In the weaker state, Voltage took advantage of it and damaged him even more, eventually forcing Akuma to trap him in a hallucination to protect himself. While in it, the demon attempted to distract him by psychologically tormenting him with his past actions while still attacking him.

While initially successfully taking his focus off the fight, Voltage ultimately broke free from the hallucination—now more furious than ever. With his newfound rage, he viciously attacked Akuma until he grew tired from overexerting his power reserves. As the fight concluded with each suffering from massive injuries, Akuma declared Voltage the winner, with the demon even saying the human earned his respect. They propose a deal to each other where Voltage maintains his freedom, but Akuma must be allowed to feed off his destructive rampages and summon in situations where the only way for the demon to win a fight is with Voltage's assistance. With that, the two of them went separate ways for some time.

During their time away, Akuma fell in love with Voltage despite being part of the species he hates, to the point of wanting to marry him. Whenever presented with the opportunity, he will spy on or visit the human as he commits his crimes. Despite Voltage being annoyed by his presence, Akuma appears not to be bothered by it.
