Amaterasu (nicknamed Ammako in the original Japanese version or Ammy in the localized game) is the protagonist in the action-adventure game Ōkami, the first installment in the Ōkami series of fantasy-themed action adventure. Her heavenly weapon, which spins on her back, is called Divine Retribution.
