Angel Bunny, better known as Angel, is a cute arrogant male white bunny from the show My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. He makes his first full appearance in the third episode of the first season,The Ticket Master.
He is Fluttershy's main pet friend and adoptive son. Angel helps Fluttershy with tasks and he tries to make her more assertive. Although cute and adorable, Angel is often grumpy, stubborn, spiteful, mischievous and bad-tempered and will boss Fluttershy around sometimes. He's often impatient and sometimes takes advantage of Fluttershy's shyness. If he doesn't like someone, he will let him / her know.
Although he is on her side in "The Ticket Master" and "A Bird in the Hoof," Angel is a key antagonist of "Putting Your Hoof Down," as he refuses to eat anything aside from a specific salad with a cherry on top. Fluttershy is unable to get the cherry (while making every other part of the salad the same) so Angel kicks her out into her mailbox. At the end of the episode, Fluttershy gives Angel The Stare and he eats the other salad.
Angel is not a real villain, nor an antagonist. But many fans dislike him to the point of making him a fan villain. He is more of a bully and a jerk than a villain.
He is the main antagonist of Just For Sidekicks.
Depiction in the comics[]
In My Little Pony' Friends Forever Issue #5, Discord grants Angel, as well as Fluttershy's numerous other animal friends, the temporary ability to speak so that they may connect on a more personal level. As a result of this change, Fluttershy remarks that Angel is "quite the chatterbox".
He's the main protagonist in Issue #23 of the IDW comic series.
