The Arkosaurus is the final boss and main antagonist of the Combat of Giants game Combat of Giants: Dinosaur Strike for the Nintendo Wii, and later reappeared in Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D for the Nintendo 3DS with the same role.
Out of the mutated dinosaurs, Arkosaurus stands alone as the only one that cannot be unlocked. This unique creature, however, defies the classification of a true dinosaur, for it is believed to possess demonic origins. Its very existence strikes fear into the hearts of all who encounter it. Arkosaurus, the first mutated Tyrannosaurid, stands as the formidable leader among the mutated dinosaurs. Possessing an immense and overwhelming power, he posed a grave threat to the very existence of the dinosaur species.
Recognizing the danger, the Dinosaur Chiefs united their forces and succeeded in imprisoning Arkosaurus within the confines of a mountain. However, fate took a sinister turn when chaos erupted upon the earth, causing the four Dinosaur Chiefs to mysteriously vanish. Seizing this opportunity, Arkosaurus broke free from his mountainous prison and ascended to the pinnacle of his might. While bearing a striking resemblance to the fearsome Tyrannosaurus rex, Arkosaurus exhibits unique and menacing features. His tail is adorned with a spiky club, and his lower jaw boasts two imposing sabres that protrude menacingly.
Arkosaurus is the leader of the Mutated Dinosaurs. Within the ranks of the mutated dinosaurs, Arkosaurus is joined by four other formidable creatures: Naxocertops, a Ceratopsid; Hilierosaurus, a Stegosaurid; Cassosaurus, an Ankylosaurid; a Deathchosaurus (mutated Albertosurus), a Tyrannosaurid featured in Dinosaurs 3D, and in the three-dimensional version, Gorgoraptor, a Dromaeosaurid, joins their fearsome ranks.
