Plot[]
Ash and his friends have traveled to the Jungles of India to reunite with Bagheera the Panther, Baloo the Bear and meet a Man-Cub named Mowgli and they protect Mowgli from the evil Tiger named Shere Khan along with The Crime Empire and Jessie, James, and Meowth of Team Rocket.

- Unlike Pooh's Adventures of The Jungle Book, this is an NTSC film with NTSC bits from the Pokémon films, Batman: Mask of the Phantasm, Batman: Return of the Joker, and Batman and Harley Quinn.
- The Jungle Book had another home video release in 1997, the same year that the TV series Pokémon first aired in Japan.
- The storyline will continue to Ash's Adventures of The Jungle Book 2.
- in this movie, Ash will accidentally lose his temper when Mowgli accuses Baloo and his friends for betraying him and will literally snap at him by demanding him to come with them to go back to the Man Village. After Ash and his friends defended Mowgli from Shere Khan, Ash will apologize to Mowgli for losing his temper and Mowgli will apologize to Ash for behaving very rudely to him.
- Ash and his friends will meet up with Mowgli and Bagheera at the moment they are traveling during the night and stopping to rest.
- It will reveal that Misty not only has a phobia for bugs, but also has a phobia for snakes.
- Ash and Pikachu have met the Vultures before in Winnie the Pooh Goes to Atlantis: The Lost Empire, and then with Misty, Brock, and Togepi in Pooh's Adventures of 101 Dalmatians.
