Azelf is a Psychic-type legendary Pokemon and one of the lake guardians. It is known as the Willpower Pokemon. It even has a unique connection with Ash Ketchum due to his strong willpower of protecting Pokemon even if they are legendary.

- In Liam's Adventures Series, it is revealed to be caught by Liam.
- While in Ryan's Adventures Series, it is befriended by Ryan Freestar instead of getting caught by Liam (due to him, Miki and Kathy all being petrified). It can be called upon for battles.
