Barney, BJ, Vanellope, Ralph, Felix, Dipper, Mabel and the Chipmunks go to Monster High right before Halloween to help the students learn that humans, or as they call us 'normies', are just as equal as they are, as well as help Frankie Stein, daughter of Frankenstein's monster, convince them that too. Unfortunately, things go a little unexpected and soon after a series of events, they must save Frankie's friend, Holt Hyde, son of Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde from dying.
