Batgirl (DC Animated Universe) in The New Batman Adventures
Barbara Gordon is a supporting character in Batman: The Animated Series, and the deuteragonist of its sequel series The New Batman Adventures. She is also one of the main protagonists of the Gotham Girls spin-off.
Barbara is the daughter of Gotham City Police Commissioner James Gordon, and, as Batgirl, Batman's crimefighting partner and protégé. Later in life, she follows in her father's footsteps by becoming the Commissioner of the Gotham Police Department.
She is voiced by Melissa Gilbert in Batman: The Animated Series, by Tara Strong - who also portrayed Paz Ortega Andrade in the Metal Gear Solidvideo game series, Rikku in the Final Fantasy video game series, Krista Sparks in Twisted Metal: Head On, Talwyn Apogee in Ratchet & Clank, Juliet Starling in Lollipop Chainsaw, Twilight Sparkle in My Little Ponies: Friendship is Magic, the title characterin Unikitty, Dil Pickles in Rugrats and All Grown Up!, Ben Tennyson in Ben 10, Timmy Turner and Poof in Fairly OddParents, Truffles in Chowder, Daizyin Wow Wow Wubbzy, and Princess Clara in Drawn Together - The New Batman Adventures, and by Stockard Channing in the first season of Batman Beyond before being replaced by Angie Harmon.
