Boris is a Russian goose who raised Balto since he was a pup/cub and became his legal guardian in Balto.

Trivia

• Boris is voiced by the late Bob Hoskins (who also portrayed the role as Eddie Valiant in Who Framed Roger Rabbit) in the first film and Charles Fleischer (Hoskins's co-star who played the title role in Who Framed Roger Rabbit) in the sequels.
