Buckethead Zombie is a recurring character within the Plants vs. Zombies franchise. Buckethead Zombies are basic zombies, tougher than Browncoat Zombies and Conehead Zombies, but having no special abilities otherwise. Bucketheads become Browncoat Zombies once they lose their bucket.

- As seen in the concept design for Buckethead Zombie posted on the Plants vs. Zombies Facebook Page, the "blood" may be red paint, as it was supposed to be a painter zombie who used its paint bucket as a helmet. It is unknown if this is still considered canon, though.
- In Nova's Adventures Series/Nova's Adventures Chronicles, there are three robot buckethead zombies which are named as ???, ??? and ??? (all three based off of Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts from The Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog) who was created by Dr. Zomboss and Wildfire Foxbrid as part of the members of Super Special Arcticnexa Search and Smash Squad, they also made their debuts in Super Special Arcticnexa Search and Smash Squad (NAC)
