Calibos is a man transformed into a monster by the god Zeus, and is the the main villain of the movie, Clash of the Titans.
Background[]
Calibos, son of the sea goddess Thetis, was a young man engaged to marry Princess Andromeda, the daughter of Queen Cassiopeia and heir to the rich city of Joppa; not only had he reduced the Wells of the Moons to a near-lifeless swamp, but also hunted and destroyed Zeus' sacred flying horses (except only Pegasus). To punish him, Zeus transformed Calibos into a deformed monster and he was exiled by his people.
