Empowered Heroes

Heroes who gain abilities via some outside force - such as becoming the avatar of a powerful entity, obtaining a mystical-object or weapon and generally gaining a means to have power beyond that of your ordinary human. Unlike Mutated Heroes, who are more or less permanently imbued with powers and abilities, without said weapon, magic or substance an Empowered Hero will, become normal once again.
