A Knight of Cerebus is a type of villain where there is usually comical or incompetent villains and the villain quickly goes against those rules. Other times a Knight of Cerebus is simply a villain whose episode or a movie in which antagonizes focuses primarily on the seriousness and drama and less on humor.
For a villain qualify in this category, the villain should provide situations that are very serious or threatening than any other villain that has appeared in a film, book, TV show, or a video game, having the presence to do pure evil that's usually not meant to be funny.
EXAMPLES: Megatron, The Fallen, Jeffery Fecalman.
NOTE: A Knight of Cerebus is a dark villain in a setting where it normally doesn't make sense ( for example, a crazy killer in My Little Pony ) - not simply a dark villain .
IMPORTANT: To qualify in this category the villain must have these traits:
- They must be completely serious and not funny in any way, shape or form.
- They can be heroes who briefly turned to the dark side. As long as the hero was serious and threatening when they did.
