- In Ryan's Adventures Series, instead of it being released, it remained by Hansen's side after he was arrested, but was accidentally left behind, but was not exactly released. Eventually, it found Hansen and stayed with him despite being in prison.
- It will face Ryan in The Princess and the Togepi! (RFFAoP:AC), and is later quickly defeated by Misty's Gyarados which knew Flamethrower.
