Combusken is a Fire/Fighting-type Pokemon evolved from Torchic. In the anime, May's Torchic evolved into a Combusken while defending its friends from a group of wild Breloom. May mostly uses it in most Pokemon contests until it evolved into Blaziken.

- Ui Hirasawa owns a Combusken nicknamed "Bruce", he evolved from Torchic in The Trouble With Snubbull! where it protected Ui from the glove from Meowth's Lean Mean Fight the Bite Machine, and evolved into Combusken to do so.
