Cowardly Lion render

The Cowardly Lion is one of the tritagonists (alongside with Scarecrow and Tin Man) in the Wizard of Oz franchise.

He is a male anthropomorphic talking African lion and the third (and final) ally to meet Dorothy. Even though he is a lion, he is not so brave and joins Dorothy to get courage from the Wizard, although certain perils along his journey make him find the courage within his heart to help his friends.

He is also the not-so fearless king of the forest. There were moments where he gains his courage to defend his friends, mostly Dorothy. He's afraid of almost anything, including his own shadow. And he most likely to retreat from a fight or a dangerous creepy place. But he feels safe with his friends by his side.

Also, Lion has a big appetite and will eat almost anything he sees. But aside from his fear and appetite, Lion has got Dorothy and her friends' backs, and he will always have courage inside of him and will always help anyone save Oz from certain doom.
