- Meg Griffin previously owned a Cubone which she got in Kanto. Upon her arrival to Alola, he finally evolved into Marowak which turned out to be its Alola Form during a battle with Team Skull.
- Mio Akiyama owns a Cubone nicknamed "Orphan" where it lost its mother recently so Mio adopted it, it began to inherit Mio's personality, and often attacking Ritsu Tainaka with Bonemarang.
