Trivia[]
- This is the first time the Mystery Mouseketool was chosen third.
- As this was the first episode, there are many early elements in this episode that were also seen in "A Surprise for Minnie", but were changed in "Goofy's Bird" onwards:
- In the theme song, when Mickey is walking through the forest, pink bushes are seen.
- The Clubhouse's grass always visible even when the Clubhouse isn't seen, as seen in the theme song and the end of the Mouskedance. In "Goofy's Bird" onwards, the grass appears and disappears with the pants.
- The Glove Balloon pops out gradually as the camera passes it, but in "Goofy's Bird" onwards, it pops out faster.
- Toodles only gets slightly close to show the series logo and title card. In "Goofy's Bird" onwards, he fills up the camera which cuts to the titles.
- The question mark used for the Mystery Mouseketool has a different appearance.
- Toodles has a lot more circles on his screen than in future episodes.
- This iteration of Toodles used in this episode is referred to as, "Too Many Dots Toodles" by fans.
- Already used Mousketools on Toodles' screen are darkly shaded. In "Donald's Big Balloon Race" onwards, they are grayscaled.
- When Mickey decides to use the trampoline and flashlight Mousketools, the screen stays on the Mousketool-selection screen when Mickey says, "We got ears! Say cheers!" In future episodes, the screen will always zoom in on the selected Mousketool.
- This early element would later reappear after selecting Mousketools in "Goofy's Thinking Cap".
- When discussing about the Mouseketools used during the Mouskedance, scene transitions push from the right. In future episodes, the transitions are a crossfade.
- This is the only to not have Corey Burton as Dale since Tress MacNeille voiced him in this episode. Corey would come back as Dale in Donald's Big Balloon Race.
- Following this episode, none of the other sheep or their models appear in other episodes until "Minnie's Bee Story".
Goofs[]

- Also in the theme song, the Glove Balloon flies lower than usual and its ropes clip through the building as it ascends.

- When Mickey suggests they all help Donald find Baby sheep, Goofy freezes for a moment before moving again saying "Sounds good to me!"
