- He reappears in a later episode, but dies from disgrace after Liam's Charizard attacked him.
- He will become Emerl's Enemy in Team Robot in Pokémon The Beginning the Series.
- He will be an enemy to Ryan, Meg and their team in Ryan's Adventures of Pokémon: Indigo League. Near the end of Charmander the Stray Pokemon, he gets shocked by Pikachu's lightning and instead of being under arrest, have his Pokemon licence revoked and his Pokemon released, he flees with his Pokemon as he cries for his mom, never to be seen again.
