Dar-Benn (Marvel Cinematic Universe)
Kree Supremor Dar-Benn is the main antagonist of the 2023 Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero film The Marvels, the sequel to the 2019 film Captain Marvel and the 2022 Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel.
She is a Kree revolutionary, former Starforce operative, and Accuser who is bent on restoring Hala, the Kree homeworld, back to its former glory after it fell desolate in the aftermath of a civil war started after the Supreme Intelligence's defeat by Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel and Ronan the Accuser's defeat by Guardians of the Galaxy. Using one of the Quantum Bands, Dar-Benn begins creating wormholes across space to siphon other planets of their resources, prompting Captain Marvel, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan) and Monica Rambeau to team up to stop her.
She was portrayed by Zawe Ashton in her first villainous role.
