DarkTyrannomon is a Champion Digimon.
In Adventure it was one of the Digimon recruited by Myotismon to search for Kari, the virus in its body were later cured by Lillymon's flower ring, DarkTyrannomon was later killed by Myotismon as punishment (in the American English version, Myotismon blasted it back to the Digital World).
In DA02 they are also called up by The Digimon Emperor to overpower SkullGreymon, who had erroneously evolved from Agumon again. Another also appeared in Real-World Japan and interrupted Matt's concert, but to be sent back to The Digital World.
In Tamers, DarkTyrannomon appeared fighting Maildramon who was chasing Calumon, it later evolves into MetalTyrannomon and killed Maildramon.
In Fusion they also made up as Dorbickmon's army.
One also appeared in Adventure: guarding Ogremon's fortress. It was defeated by Birdramon and Greymon, knocking it to the ocean.
