This Tyranitar is one of Liam's Pokemon he owns.
Story[]
As its egg[]
It debuted as an egg prior to The Apple Corp though it was given to Liam by Azusa Nakano as a Christmas gift some time around Delibird's Dilemma, the egg later hatched into a Larvitar.
With Liam[]
As Larvitar[]
Liam used Larvitar against Team Rocket in Houndoom's Special Delivery! where it knew Rock Throw, and defeated the relatively easy.
He used him again in Spring Fever!, where he tried to stop Team Rocket but Jessie kicked it, knocking him out. He later recovered himself after Liam and Azusa got him back. Furious for being kicked by Team Rocket, Larvitar evolved into Pupitar.
As Pupitar[]
He showed his new form by learning Iron Head and Stone Edge which he defeated Weezing and beat up Meowth as karma.
He was sent out in The Light Fantastic! where it was shown to have learned Hyper Beam which blasted Team Rocket off with Flashy's help.
He was then used in its first gym battle in Nerves of Steelix, where it protected Vulpix from Magnezone's Thunderbolt due to his immunity to Electric attack because of his Ground typing, he was confused by Supersonic but was cured due to its Shed Skin Ability. He was recalled when Skarmory was part Flying to bring in Typhlosion.
He was sent back out again to battle Aggron and Klinklang after Typhlosion was defeated, Pupitar was hit by Flash Cannon, and nearly knocking him out, but he refused to quit as he got back up after that super effective hit. Reminiscing the times it had from its egg to how far they have come, Pupitar regain his energy to fight, and evolved into Tyranitar.
