EL Toro and Pancho are a duo of anthropomorphic frogs that appeared in a line of 17 cartoons.
El Toro- El Toro is the big round frog that is pushy and bossy at times, but he has experience at being a frog which he tries to teach his apprentice and best friend Poncho, mainly all the joys and the pitfalls of being a frog in Mexico. He often brags about being the biggest and strongest bullfrog in all the country but not even he can tackle some situations when something overpowers him, which leads to him often being rescued by Poncho.
Poncho- Poncho is the smallest, skinny frog of the due who is best friends with El Toro and often admires every quality about him, no matter how many times he is punched or pushed around. While he isn't the brightest frog in their pond, often taking sayings to seriously and falling for tricks meant for their prey, he does come up with some bright ideas and there are times he becomes the strong one of the pair, leading to their roles being switched. Sometimes his sombrero is so big it covers his eyes, and he is often seen taking a lot of naps with El Toro. But when you are a frog that's on the menu on practically every big animal like storks, giant fish and even humans, you need to take advantage of every leisure time that you can get!
