Empress is a minor and deceased character in Benny, Leo, Johnny, Rae and Ripe Olive. She was the mother of the title character Ripe Olive and the original pet of Elbridge Means' late wife, Abigail. On the day after she bears her foal, Dwight Anders steals her and kills her for horse meat, which isn't seen, only spoken of.
