This Roserade nicknamed "Fragrant" is one of Rose's Pokémon and her first that she officially owns, she is revealed to be Rose's starter Pokemon when she was a Budew.
Story[]
As a wild Pokemon[]
She first appeared as a wild Budew at the Sinnoh region in "Dawn of a New Era!", when Ryan suggested Rose Lavillant to catch a Pokemon of her own to defend herself which Ryan suggested Budew due to her interest of fragrances.
Crash mistook her as a Wumpa Fruit and she revealed herself to be a Pokemon. Rose convinced her she wasn't going to hurt her and Crash didn't mean to offend her as a Wumpa Fruit. Marcus alerts Crash and Matau that she has Poison Point. Rose protected her from Team Rocket whom Rose haven't seen Team Rocket before until now. Rose then asked what attacks she can use, Ryan suggested checking her Pokedex to see what moves she can use,
By the end of the episode, Budew nuzzled Rose's leg, and Ryan states that she likes Rose and using his translator device, she says that she has decided to come along to Rose as her Pokemon, Ryan gave Rose a ??? to catch it, which she does, Budew willingly let itself be caught, making Rose's first Pokemon she owns.

In Try for the Family Stone!, Ryan found a Shiny Stone for Rose while helping them look for a Dusk Stone. When Ryan tells Fragrant if she is ready for her to be a Roserade, she nodded, so Rose gives the Shiny Stone to her and proceeded to evolve into a Roserade.
