Francis is a male ladybug and one of the Circus Bugs in P.T. Flea's circus. Francis, being a ladybug, is often mistaken for a lady. This constant mistakening of being a lady has made Francis very tough, aggressive and unpredictable. During his stay on Ant Island, he grew fond of the young blueberry ants who named her their "Honorary Den Mother." Francis is best friends with Heimlich and Slim, his fellow clowns who often times have to keep him calm when he gets tense.
