Frank and Lyman are flying monkeys and the secondary antagonists in Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz.
They are working for Wicked Witch of the West and her niece Wilhelmina Witch.
Biography[]
They often unsuccessfully attempt to hinder Dorothy and her friends in order to obtain the Ruby Slippers and give them to Wilhelmina and her auntie so they can rule the Land of Oz.
However, there were times in which they weren't so evil at all, and also times in which Wilhelmina and her auntie kick them out for their constant failures (such as in "Mission Imp-Possible", "Wingmen no More", and "Monkey Business"), only to feel sorry and rehire them.
Lyman gets huge and temporarily becomes Pure Evil when the Helmet of Ozmosis falls on him in the episode "Ozmosis", much to Frank's horror, but he was restored when Dorothy and her friends and enemies team up to make him fall into all the traps of the Castle and the Helmet fell from his head.
Appearances[]
Frank is a large flying monkey. He has yellow eyes and wears a shirt and a matching fez with blue, red and white details on it. And he has a long tail.
Lyman is a small flying monkey. Like Frank, Lyman has yellow eyes and he has the same shirt and fez, and he has a long tail too.
Personalities[]
Frank and Lyman are the bumbling henchmen of Wilhelmina and the Wicked Witch. They often unsuccessfully attempt to hinder Dorothy and her friends in order to obtain the Ruby Slippers and give them to Wilhelmina and her auntie so they can rule the Land of Oz.
Frank is known to be smart and the brains of the flying monkeys, whereas Lyman is the small, over-energetic and chatty companion of him. He often gets abused by Frank, Wilhelmina and even the Wicked Witch.
But no matter what schemes they come up with, karma always comes back to bite them in the tails.
