Golbez, born Theodor Harvey, is a dark knight and a tremendously powerful sorcerer, as well as the secondary antagonist of the Final Fantasy IV trilogy, serving as the secondary antagonist of Final Fantasy IV, and the deuteragonist of the DLC Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. He seeks to call forth the mythical Giant of Babel and wipe out life on Earth. However, he is eventually revealed to be the older brother of the game's main hero Cecil Harvey, mind-controlled by the game's true villain, Zemus.
