Gravity Antonion, known as Gravitate Ant-Onion (グラビテイト・アントニオン Gurabiteito Antonion) in Japan, is an ant-based New Generation Reploid from Mega Man X8 that worked in an anti-gravity laboratory. He eventually became a Maverick and went to work for Sigma.
History[]
Antonion was the lead researcher at an anti-gravity research institute and a New Generation Reploid. His cortex was heavily upgraded in order to operate his complex research equipment, and he was an extremely intellectual scientist as a result. Antonion had a calm and polite demeanor, but became more brash and aggressive in battle. When he became a Maverick, he created a tower above the anti-gravity lab, which has a lot of switches that shift gravity.

Gravity Antonion has an appearance based on an ant, possessing antennae, a bulbous abdomen, and the large jaws of a soldier ant. His armor was purple and red in color.
Gravity Antonion was very intelligent and analytical. He rejected the labels given to him by others, such as "great scientist" or "Maverick", and believed that the world and the Maverick Hunters were arrogant to do so. He truly believed in Sigma's cause, agreeing that the world is evil and needed a reset. He also believed that if anyone couldn't understand their plan and tried to interfere, they needed to be destroyed.
