Gretchen Gritcherson aka "The Gretch" is a girl who is described as being anything but "sugary sweet", as she is sardonic and indifferent about everything. Her lack of enthusiasm is made up with her sharp, critical tongue. With a black belt in karate and an intolerance toward wrong doing, Gretchen is not a girl you want to mess with. However, underneath the tough exterior, she has a huge heart and secretly wishes she could be like any normal girl (though she would never ever reveal this).
Her catchphrase is "Ya think?!" usually said to McGee when a plan has gone wrong and he points out the obvious. She is revealed to have a severe phobia of chipmunks in "Cheeks of Dread" and is allergic to lizards and dragons, shown in "How to Potty Train Your Dragon."
Her surname is revealed to be Gritcherson in "Meet the Gretch's Parents," where her mother Mrs. Gritcherson (A.K.A. Mrs. G) refers to her as "Gretchikins".

Gretchen is a tall girl with her black hair which worn in pigtails with red scrunchies, black skeleton earrings, blue eyes, fair skin, a red shirt, dark red sleeves, a light greyish purple striped skirt which inflates into a white tutu, black and blue striped leggings, white underwear, green socks and maroon shoes.
Personality[]
Gretchen is a girl with a butt-kicking attitude. She is extremely skilled at kung-fu, and she is never afraid to back down from a challenge. Gretchen has a bit of a tomboyish side, and does all the creepy yet fun activities with McGee and Squirt. She is also known to be a bit sarcastic, and always gives off teenage remarks. Gretchen also has a little bit of a temper on her, because she has a really bad grudge on Suzi, whom she dislikes Gretchen in return. But the worst thing about Gretchen's anger is her "hanger", which she describes as hungry/angry. Gretchen may be tough and sarcastic, but she does have a soft spot in her, (elephants in particular), although she gets extremely assertive and angry if anyone finds out about her delightful giggles.
But however, Gretchen does have a huge heart, and she's well-meaning, nice, fearless, caring and she's always ready for some serious butt-kicking.
