The Head Witch, or the Queen Witch, is a powerful witch-like entity who served as the leader of a tribe of primitive witches that appeared in the Primal episode, "Coven of the Damned". Before the arrival of Spear and Fang, the Queen Witch had been creating offspring for her followers from using life energy from cavemen that were abducted by the witches and use them for the witches' sacrifice rituals. On the night when Spear and Fang were traveling in the jungle, the witches are performing their painful ritual with a screaming bearded caveman that they have captured. The head witch soon arrives on her Pteranodon mount flying in the air. After the Pteranodon is perched on a hill, the witch walks towards the caveman where she morphs into a demon-like form. In this form, the Head Witch absorbs the essence of the caveman, reducing him to a mummified husk, and uses the essence to create a newborn girl whom she gives to one of her followers for her to raise. At that moment, her Pteranodon sees Spear and Fang spying on them through its eyes and alerts their presence to the witch. The head witch transforms back and commands her followers to attack them with the intent on capturing Spear as her next sacrifice. Upon nightfall the following day, the Head Witch returns to perform the ritual on Spear. Before she could sacrifice him, she and the other witches hear the Pteranodon's screeches and watched as Lula, originally one of the head witch's followers, kills it at its perch using Spear's spear, then sets him free from the Stonehenge using a mind-controlled Fang. Infuriated, the head witch shape-shifted into a giant wolf and attacks Fang, only for Lula to flow down from the perch in the form of a raven and distracted the leader long enough to allow Spear and Fang to escape deep into the jungle. Eventually, the head witch overpowered Lula and struck her down as punishment for her betrayal.
