Huggy, is a Goodra under the ownership of Yui Hirasawa.
History[]
With Yui[]
As Goomy[]
Huggy first appeared as a Goomy in Charmander the Stray Pokemon!.
Yui used her against numerous Team Rocket Grunts in Battle Aboard the St. Anne, she blasted some more thugs away using her Dragon Breath, while Yui praised her for its hard work, she evolved into Sliggoo.
As Sliggoo[]
Sliggoo showed off her newfound strength with her newly-learned Ice Beam after being offended by Ritsu.
In Pokémon Shipwreck, Yui sent Huggy out to confront Team Rocket but she was forced to be recalled back into her Pokeball due to the ship had capsized and was rocking about.
In Island of the Giant Pokémon, she was one of the Pokémon who had been separated from her Trainer, when Yui lost some of her Pokemon due to Gyarados' Dragon Rage cyclone.
She was sent out to join the beach in Beauty and the Beach alongside Yui's other Pokemon.
In Tentacool & Tentacruel, Yui send Huggy out to battle Team Rocket but was stopped by Ben to check what they were up to.
Later, after one of the Tentacool evolved into a Supersize Tentacruel and tried start an invasion and destory everything for its revenge for destroying its home, and attacked Horsea with its tentacle, Huggy saw Yui rushing off by herself, trying to act like a hero and to defend for Horsea's sake.
Yui got so distracted that she didn't see the cliff and began to fall to her certain doom. Huggy, not wanting to let her Trainer fall to her death, let out a huge rainstorm, and ran as fast as she could with full speed, the rain also triggered her evolution into Goodra.
As Goodra[]
After evolving, she saved Yui from the brink of death by catching her with her antenna-like retractable horns. She later showed her newly-learned Draco Meteor as part of her evolution.
She sent her out in The Ghost of Maiden's Peak, but lost due to its weakness to Ice by a refrigerator created illusion made by Gastly.
Yui sent her out to battle the Ursaring in Forest Grumps, only to be quickly defeated by a single Hyper Beam, forcing Yui to recall it back to its Pokeball.
Yui entered Huggy into the Pokemon Sumo Competition in Ring Masters!, where she won aginst an Arbok, and Miki's Ursaring, before losing to Ash's Snorlax after Huggy wobbled when she then lost balance and went off the ring, eliminating Yui from the tournament.
She was used in The Heartbreak of Brock! where she blasted Team Rocket off with a Hyper Beam which she learned prior to the episode.
She was present in Current Events! where she stopped Yui from trying to hug the Liazu couple, and told Yui not to disturb their moment, as she was worried about her well-being, much to Yui's dismay.
She was sent out to rescue Pikachu from Team Rocket in Nerves of Steelix where she revealed her newly-learned Flamethrower combined with Steelix's attack to send Team Rocket blasting off.
In Mutiny in the Bounty!, Huggy is shown to be willing to put other's needs before hers. This is proven when she and Snowbelle both sacrifice themselves to save Miki from Hunter J.
In The Drifting Snorunt!, Huggy used a Counter Shield by using Dragon Pulse to form a barrier to protect herself from the Poacher's Glalie.
In Jostling for the Junior Cup!, she battled against a Trainer's Lilligant and easily won due to her Ability activating, after Lillgant's consecutive Petal Dances hit her in an explosion which proved to be fruitless against Huggy, Cilan discovered Huggy's Special Ability was Sap Sipper, and Attract was also fruitless due to Huggy being a female, and she defeated Lilligant with Dragon Tail.
In Battle Royal 151, after Ui was defeated, Yui was left powerless without her sister, which distracted Huggy and Yui, and because of this, she and Snowbelle were defeated by Guzma and his Scizor, eliminating Yui from the Tournament.
In Z-Move Showdown!, Yui and Huggy perform the Z-Move Devastating Drake against Guzzlord.
In PJ090, Huggy was sent out to battle Alternative World Team Rocket alongside Snowbelle, but before the Dragon Pokémon could do anything, she devolved back into Sliggoo while Meowstic devolved back into Espurr and was forced to be recalled back to it's Poké Ball. But Snowbelle stayed out of its ball. Huggy as a Sliggoo, was then sent out, but she instantly devolved into Goomy, and eventually turned into an egg, along with Snowbelle who also turned into an egg as well. due to Dialga and Palkia's fighting, and every other Pokémon turned into eggs as well while the Trainers including the Miraculous French team, Negi's Classmtes, Dora, Liam, Miki, Kathy, Ben, Ashley, Sydney, the entire Light Music Club including Sawako and Nodoka Manabe, as well as Stitch deaged into little kids and a baby alien, the effect of deaging couldn't affect Lilo due to already being young, Tabby Darklight for being humanoid, and Sayo who was a ghost. Moments after the Alternate World Team Rocket was defeated and Ash and his friends prayed for Dialga and Palkia to stop fighting, a silhouette of Arceus appeared, calmed the temporal and spacial Pokémon down and destroyed the Red Chain. Dialga and Palkia fixed the damage their fighting caused and returned everyone back to their respective dimensions, while also granting their wish to reverse the devolution effects on all of their Pokémon, returning Goomy and Espurr's eggs all the way back to Goodra and Meowstic, respectively.
In PJ102, Huggy was sent out as Yui's final Pokemon for the Raid Battle against Articuno, despite her best efforts, she was eventually defeated by its Sheer Cold, leaving Yui no more Pokemon left to battle.
As Dynamax Goodra[]
Personality and characteristics[]
When Huggy was a Goomy, she was initially timid and slightly a bit of a coward due to her species, but she can be brave in some occasions, thanks to her, she is not afraid to be around other friends' Pokemon.
After she evolved into a Sliggoo, she is capable of listening to things like noises and sounds. She is also shown to be quite sensitive and aggressive as she was offended by Ritsu's comment earlier and attacked her with Ice Beam, as shown in Battle Aboard the St. Anne. Huggy is also shown to be very quick on her feet, this was shown in Tentacool & Tentacruel where she rushed in to rescue Yui and summoning a raincloud before evolving into Goodra.
As a Goodra, Huggy is a gentle giant and considered the surrogate big sister of all the small Pokémon, especially Miki's Pichu, as shown in Haunter vs. Kadabra where she was confirmed to be a female. She is shown willing to put others needs before hers.
As shown in Sick Daze!, she had started acting like her younger sister, Ui. She began worrying about her well-being and her health, she begn to doubt herself thinking it was her fault that Yui fell sick because of her, but she conforted the Dragon Pokmon, telling her that she was not to blame as this happened before, and she began oozing gooey tears, when Ui checked her Rotom Phone, it states when Goodra is overcome with loneliness, it will cry gooey tears.
She acts similar to Mio whenever Yui tries to hug the Liazu couple as shown in Current Events!, where she pulls Yui away using her retractable horns to stop her from doing so and told her to stay where she is, much to Yui's disappointment. She mostly stays out of its ball occasionally.
Huggy is shown to be a fierce battler, willing to take on attacks, similar to what Ash's Torterra does when it was a Grotle and its final form, before counterattacking with a powerful attack like Bide which she knows. Despite Yui's clumsiness and her scatterbrain demeanor, Huggy cares a lot about her, she had a deadpan reaction when Yui goofs up something she shouldn't do, such as Yui being lazy, she once scolded her Trainer which was translated by Azusa.
Ever since Luca joined the group and became Yui's lover, her aggressive demeanour is shown again as Goodra as she revealed to have a protective side towards Yui and Aden, when Team Rocket tried to hurt them, Huggy stepped in to fight without her telling her to battle. Yui knew that Huggy was trying to protect them and deeply cares for the lovebirds.
