Kratos, the '"Ghost of Sparta", is a video game character from Sony Santa Monica's God of War series, which is loosely based on Greek mythology. Born in Sparta, Kratos was a respected soldier and General, and would ascend to Godhood before exacting revenge against the Olympians who betrayed him.
