In Fighting Flyer with Fire, Sentret was used as Liam's first Pokemon in his battle against Falkner, she was at a good start by blocking its attack with Fury Swipes, then she dodged Farfetch'd's first attack with Quick Attack, but then had a slight disadvantage after being hit by Break Break. Eventually, she regained her footing and was able to defeat the Wild Duck with Thunder Punch before finishing it off with Hyper Voice.

She was able to slow down Fearow, before being defeated by Drill Peck due to the damage she had taken from her previous battle with Farfetch'd.

In A Goldenrod Opportunity, Sentret was used against Ambipom, but due to Ambipom's Technician ability made it difficult for her, Sentret took a brutal hit from Double Hit, and looked like she was unable to battle, but due to Liam's encouragement allowed her to get back up, and then surprises everyone including Whitney herself by evolving into a Furret.

As Furret

With this new form, Furret learned Brick Break, and managed to outmaneuver Ambipom, and defeating it with Hyper Voice, earning Liam the Plain Badge.
