Lion was originally a circus lion from Nebraska. He was feared by all except for his best friend, Oscar. That all changed when he was drifted to the merry ol' land of Oz. There, he made many, many new friends, including the Benny, Leo and Johnny Adventure team.

- Lion will meet Simba and the Jungle Adventure crew in Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa's Adventures of Lion of Oz.
- Lion will meet Winnie the Pooh and his friends in Pooh's Adventures of Lion of Oz.
- Lion will meet Juniper Lee in the first Juniper Lee's Adventures Series movie Juniper Lee's Adventures of the Lion of Oz.
- Just like in the 1939 movie "Wizard of Oz," Lion is a "victim of disorganized thinking." He is not a real coward but simply thinks that he is because he's been running away from danger ever since he lost his Badge of Courage.
- Lion will make a guest appearance in Logan and the Return to Oz.
