Nicknamed "Loyal", this Lucario (as a Riolu) is one of Kathy's Pokemon she owns.

Story

As Riolu

Loyal was abandoned by its trainer who considered it weak and useless after it lost to a Swinub. This Pokémon was found by Kathy weak from hunger, dehydrated and completely dirty.

Loyal can be stubborn and acts proud of its own power

Kathy found him as a Riolu abandoned by its original trainer. He was completely dirty and weak from hunger and dehydration. So she took him to the Pokémon Center to have him checked and looked over overnight.

The next morning, since his original trainer wasn't coming back for him, Kathy decided to adopt Loyal.
