Lumière

Lumière is the candelabra from Beauty and the Beast. Lumiere is both the footman and maitre d' at the Beast's Castle. Lumiere is very kind hearted and nice, but also rebellious. He has a tendency to disobey orders from his master on behalf of helping others, like Belle's father who was once lost in the forest. This habit often puts him in conflict with his best friend Cogsworth, but the two value their friendship and see each other like brothers.

Lumière was voiced by the late Jerry Orbach in the animated franchise and is currently voiced by Jeff Bennett while he is portrayed by Ewan McGregor (who is known for playing Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars prequel trilogy and adult Christopher Robin in the 2018 live-action/CGI film of the same name) in the 2017 live-action remake.
Lumière's name comes from the French word "lumière," which means "light."
