Makunga. One of Simba and Pooh's enemies.
Makunga is another evil Lion who is the main villain in Pooh, Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa's Adventures of Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa. In the film, he aways wanted to take over Zuba's land and he finally got a chance when Makunga tricks Alex into picking his assistant, Teetsie for a fight and Alex lost the fight and Makunga became the new ruler. When a drought appeared at the watering hole, Makunga did nothing. After Alex, Pooh, Simba, and their friends brought the water back, they brought Nanny with them and she starts to fight Makunga and chase him away

- Despite being one of Alex's more personal enemies, Makunga is the least evil main antagonist of the Madagascar trilogy. While the Fossas and Chantel DuBois, the main antagonists of the first and third installments, were genuine threats, Makunga was just simply a pompous jerk who, despite his trickery, never went as far as to try to kill the protagonists.
- Additionally, Makunga is the only main antagonist of the Madagascar films who does not meet or interact with any of the movie trilogy's other main characters. The only one whom he meets and interacts with is Alex the Lion.
