Mal was created when the Tri's explosion separated Ryvine's heart and body. He appears as a hooded figure in brown until he possessed Connor Lacey after he scanned Clay Moorington armour. He then became a teenager with the power of darkness called Mal, Ryvine's Heartless,

Mal looks like Alejandro wearing an outfit like Xehanort's Heartless. In his updated look, his appearence to be a combo of Alejandro and Connor Lacey.
