Mamoswine is a Ice/Ground-type Pokemon. In the anime, Dawn obtained a Mamoswine when it was a Swinub. However, when it evolved into a Piloswine then a Mamoswine, it became very disobedient and wouldn't listen to anything Dawn says. But after healing it and helping it to recover from its attack from a rampaging Aggron, it earned its trainer's trust and began to obey her and performed successfully in many Pokemon contests.

- Liam owns a Mamoswine (nicknamed "Manny"), his Piloswine had evolved into one after he defeated Clair's Salamence with Ancient Power which he revealed to know that move.
