Marik Ishtar (voiced by Jonathan Todd Ross) is Ishizu Ishtar's young brother and the main antagonist of the Battle City arc until his alter ego Yami Marik took control of him. Marik was jealous and wanted to become the Pharaoh, but saw the error of his ways later on, and fullfilled his role as gatekeeper with his siblings. He eventually duels using a Gravekeeper deck.
