Olga (Asura's Wrath)

Olga is one of the Seven Deities, and a major antagonist in the 2012 video game Asura's Wrath. She is the second-in-command of the Seven Deities, as well as the right-hand of Deus.

She is voiced by Takako Honda in Japanese and Anna Vocino in English.

History[]

Olga was one of the Eight Guardian Generals under Deus' leadership. Following Gohma Vlitra's defeat, Deus murdered Emperor Strada and Asura was framed for this. After Deus overpowered and dropped Asura off the edge of the space station, Olga froze Mithra imprisoned in her pod.

12,500 years later[]

While hearing Asura and his Friends has returned, Olga is angry and wished the destruction of Asura. Following Wyzen's defeat at the hands of Asura and his Friends, she became distressed over how one of the deities could be defeated by Asura and the Friends, yet she allowed Yasha and his Teams to finish off the weakened Asura and his Friends.

500 years later[]

Olga commanded the Shinkoku Army and the fleet to strike the village, much to Asura's anger. After Ahria is caught in the carpet bombing, Asura saw her charred body, and he became into a berserk form when increasingly angry to destroy many ships. Olga ordered the fleet to retreat.

After the discussion with Olga, saying that Asura must be destroyed, Yasha opposed the idea, and tried to stop the Brahmastra from firing, but it's too late. The Berserker Asura fired his own discharge to counter it, but the discharge of Brahmastra is stronger than this of Asura. Yasha and his Teams interrupted the Brahmastra by using his powers to manipulate Brahmastra's laser from the side. Angry at this, Olga reported to Deus about that incident, but Deus dismissed her by telekinetically pushing her against the wall, telling her she should leave. After the death of Deus and Vlitra, Olga confronted Asura and Yasha and his Friends and tried to kill Mithra out of revenge for Deus' death, but the Golden Spider killed her instead.

870 million years later[]

In the epilogue, Olga is reincarnated as Deus' secretary. She tells him they would delay to attend, as Deus, now reincarnated as a businessman, insists on helping the reincarnated Strada walking on the road. She is then punished for insisting otherwise.

Personality[]

Olga is portrayed as a ruthless, determined, and overzealous demigoddess who strives to eliminate all who interfere with the plans of the Seven Deities. Olga speaks in an intellectual manner and a bewitching scent trails behind her wherever she goes. She has absolute loyalty to Deus and follows his orders without question, if pressed out of both fear and admiration for his power. Her feelings for Deus at certain points seemed to imply some level of love extending beyond professionalism, as when he was killed she genuinely wept over his death and tried to kill Mithra so that Asura and Yasha could "feel her pain" over the loss of Deus. She has been seen as being snobbish and arrogant since during her time as a Guardian General before her transition under the orders of the Seven Deities, as she arrogantly rants to her peers (Sergei and Kalrow): "How [they] became generals was beyond [her]!" During her time as a one of the Seven Deities, she expressed an extreme level of callousness over humanity and casually wasted immense levels of Mantra in her ambition to destroy her enemies as she believed with humans under control, the Mantra supply was limitless. Olga clashed with her peer, Yasha, many times over her rash decisions and she harbored great resentment towards him for limiting her efforts and acting under Deus' good graces.

Powers and Abilities[]

As a demigoddess, Olga has the immortality, thus she can never age, nor die. Thanks to the immortality, she can survive in outer space. Her Mantra affinity is Lust which allows her to increase her physical attributes and destructive power. As a second-in-command, she commanded the fleet. Although her fighting skills are never shown, Olga seemed to be expertise in swordsmanship as shown when she used the longsword in an attempt to kill Mithra. It also seemed she can manipulate the ice when she placed her hand on the pod containing Mithra, freezing Mithra in the process.

Trivia[]

  • Olga's Mantra Affinity is Lust
  • Olga along with Kalrow, are the only members of the seven deities that never face Asura head on.
