Pac-Man

Pac-Man is the main protagonist in the majority of the games in the Pac-Man series. His Japanese name is "Pakku Man". He was created by Toru Iwatani. He is Namco's mascot. Pac-Man nowadays is a common rival to Mario the official mascot of Nintendo. As the game Pac-Man is now 30 years old, Google briefly updated their homepage on 21st May 2010 for 48 hours to allow players to play Pac-Man in a maze based off of the Google Logo. This version plays exactly like the original (including Ghost A.I.), but with the following differences:

If "Insert Coin" is clicked after the game has started, the Ms. Pac-Man theme plays and two players may then play cooperatively as Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man. The two play exactly the same except for sound effects made when munching dots. The maze, as aforementioned, is derived from the Google logo, and it is no longer symmetrical. There are five power pellets instead of four.

• He appears with Winnie the Pooh and his friends in Pooh's Adventures of Pac-Man World.

• In Winnie the Pooh Goes to Fraggle Rock episode 114, Doc and Sprocket play a video game that uses sound effects from Pac-Man.

• In Pooh's Adventures of The Karate Kid, a Pac-Man machine and Super Pac-Man machine is shown at the arcade.
• Pac-Man will appear with Charlie Brown and his friends in Charlie Brown and Snoopy's Adventures of Planes, Charlie Brown and Snoopy's Adventures of Robots, Charlie Brown and Snoopy Join Anastasia, Charlie Brown and Snoopy's Adventures of Wreck-It Ralph, Charlie Brown and Snoopy's Adventures of The Simpsons Movie and Charlie Brown and Snoopy Get Cheaper by the Dozen.
• He will also have a cameo in Pooh's Adventures of Wreck It Ralph at Fix-It Felix, Jr.'s 30th Anniversary Party.
• In the upcoming film Pooh's Adventures of Tiny Toon Adventures: Buster And Babs Go Hawaiian the original Pac-Man game is parodied as Plane-Man which features an airplane character in the role as Pac-Man.
• Pac-Man will meet Team Robot in the near futrue.
• Pac-Man is known to be one of Joey's friends.
