The Penguin (DC Animated Universe) in The New Batman Adventures
Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, also known as The Penguin, is a supporting antagonist in the DC Animated Universe. He is a villainous businessman and crime lord in Gotham City and one of Batman's long-time enemies. After so many defeats, the Penguin resurfaces as a "reformed" legitimate businessman, but secretly keeps leading his own criminal operations from the Iceberg Lounge, his own nightclub.
In his first eight appearances, he was voiced by songwriter Paul Williams. In Mystery of the Batwoman, he was voiced by the late David Ogden Stiers, who also played John Ratcliffe in Pocahontas, Dr. Jumba Jookiba in Lilo and Stitch, Mr. Maellard in Regular Show, one of Satan's human guises in Touched by an Angel, and Zoltan in The Curse of the Jade Scorpion.
