Petrol is an orange anthropomorphic firetruck who appears in Firehouse Tales.
Appearance[]
Petrol is an orange fire truck with a big ladder mounted on top. He has a green and white chequered pattern on his roof. Petrol also has two blue flashing sirens. He has a tow cable on the back and he has four wheels with green round lining around them. And like Red and Crabby, Petrol also has a hose for squirting water to extinguish fires.
Personality[]
Petrol can sometimes be a bit of a worrier. He can easily get scared and be taken by surprise. Although Petrol is sometimes afraid, he sometimes manages to find the courage inside himself. Petrol is known to be very brave and considerate for those in need. He is always alert and ready for action. In "Petrol's Paint Job", he can be overprotective, as he tried to avoid several things to prevent himself from getting dirty. But he now learned, that it was important to help out in emergencies than be clean all the time. Petrol can sometimes be mature, but he also has a child-like part inside of him, as he enjoys playing games. But aside from all those things, Petrol is nice, cheerful and friendly and he will always be happy to help those in need.

- Petrol is quite similar to Donald, Douglas and Percy from "Thomas & Friends". Petrol came from Scotland and he speaks in a Scottish accent like Donald and Douglas. And he sometimes gets a bit panicky like Percy.
- Petrol is revealed to be afraid of heights in "Don't Look Down".
- In "New Truck on the Block", Petrol accidentally winched himself up a tree, but despite his heavy weight, the tree branch didn't break.
- According to his song, "I'm Petrol the Fire Truck", he came before Crabby and Red did, which meant he was the first member of the Junior Firetrucks to arrive in Green Meadows.
