Plant it Now... Diglett Later!/(Transcript)

(Episode begins)
Narrator: And so, with the Whirl Cup competition behind them, our heroes finally say goodbye to Scarlet City, reflecting on the new friendships they have made and the battles they have fought. Their time spent on Red Rock Isle was a valuable one. Their journey now continues as Ash and his friends head north to Transit Town in hopes of catching a ferry that will take them back to Olivine City. Although neither Ash, Misty or any of their friends who competed in the Whirl Cup were able to capture first prize, the experience that our young trainers gained will help them in future battles. There is, however, one battle that Ash is hungry to win right away.
(Ash's stomach rumbles)
Ash: I need, food.
Brock: Me, too. We're almost to Transit Town.
Misty: Almost? Be more specific.
Ace: And please be quick. I'm starving.
Miki: So am I.
Ash: Yeah, Brock. How close is almost?
(As our heroes walk on, Jessie spots them)
Jessie: This is just too much fun. They're all hungry and tuckered out. Perfect timing. (turns to James and Meowth, who are digging) Kick it with those shovels, the heroes are nearly here. Aren't you done?
James: You know, Jessie, any time you'd like to help out, just say the word.
Meowth: Yeah, we got plenty of room down here for da tree of us.
(A bit later, the pit is set)
James: Ah, nothing like digging a good pitfall.
Meowth: It'll be nice for dem to drop in.
Jessie: Here they come.
(Team Rocket hides in some bushes nearby as our heroes approach before they hear stomachs grumbling)
Jessie: Alright, who's stomach was that?
James: Not mine. Was it you, Meowth?
Meowth: It was mine.
(Soon, a good majority of the team falls in the pit)
Ash: What's a big hole doing in the middle of this field?
Ben: Is it not obvious that someone dug it as a trap?
Misty: It could only be...
Brock: Team Rocket!
Jenny: Alright, you punks! You've had your fun! Now just go away and forget Ash even has a Pikachu!
Ben: Yeah, the show's better off without you anyway!
Jessie: Well, that was easy.
James: It happened so quickly, I barely had time to prepare.
Meowth: Aside from the hoitful insults, I've never been more proud.
James: They're caught, we win.
Jessie: I propose a toast!
Team Rocket: Here's to us! Now let's go eat! Yum! (x2)
(Suddenly, Team Rocket falls into a pit)
James: I guess we'll need a raincheck!
Jessie: What's going on here?!
Meowth: Well, I know dis is da hole we dug cause here's my mark. It's a ting of beauty, don't you tink?
James: Meowth, it's a thing of pity if you're asking me.
Meowth: How many of dese pitfalls do you tink we dug so far?
Jessie: Who knows?
James: They must be everywhere.
Meowth: Yes, exactly. And thousands of years from now, people will discover dese holes and find my mark. I'll be the object of everyone's love and affection. And dey'll be calling da whole region Meowth-land.
Jessie and James: Dream on.
(We soon find that the heroes stuck in their pit are right next to Team Rocket's)
Ash: I don't get it. If Team Rocket dug the hole they're in, then who could've dug this one?
Ben: That's my question I'm trying to answer. (in thought) At least now I know how to tell if Team Rocket dug a pitfall or not.
Jessie: Did you and Meowth possibly dig two holes?
James: Don't be ridiculous, Jessie.
(Soon, in the hole some of our heroes are in, a Diglett pops up)
Ben: Of course! This hole was dug by...
Everyone: Diglett!
Pikachu: Pika! ("Diglett!")
Sucy: Oy ve.

Ash: (V.O.) Plant it Now...Diglett Later
Jessie: Did they, say Diglett?
Meowth: I tink so.
(Soon, eighteen Diglett pop up underneath Team Rocket, while in our heroes' hole, more Diglett show up and make a ladder for them)
Ash: Whoa!
Misty: It's a Diglett ladder!
???: I'm sorry! We're the ones who dug this giant hole! So many people were just coming through our home that we had too.
Brock: There's no need for explanation. Beauty such as yours needs to be protected. Hi, my name is Brock. What's yours?
???: Uh, I'm Rita, that's Sue
Sue: That's right. Hi, Brock.
Brock: Wow! Double wow!
Sucy: Oh brother.
Rita: The Diglett had nothing to do with digging this hole, but sorry anyway.
(Soon, our heroes and villains are out of their holes)
Misty: You said that people were coming through your home. What did you mean by that?
Ben: Intruders?
Sue: I'll be happy to explain, but first I need to ask you a favor.
Brock: Just name it.
Sue: You seem to be expert Pokemon trainers.
Misty: Uh, expert?
Ben: The only expert trainer around here is me.
Brock: Actually, I'm a breeder. But as far as breeders go, (nods) yes! An expert!
Ash: I guess. Expert is kinda strong for most of us, but some of us did battle for the Whirl Cup.
Pikachu: Pika! ("Sure did!")
Ace: At least I was stronger.
Misty: And I would say the long hours of training I've put in with my Corsola, gave me the edge.
Ben: But you didn't even USE Corsola in your battle against Ash.
Jenny: He's right, and your Corsola was beaten by a Chinchou.
Misty: (sweat drops) You had to bring it up, didn't you?
Rita: Right now, we really need your dedication and expertise.
Sue: We didn't know what we were going to do, until you came along.
Rita: We'll even have a banquet in your honor.
Ash and Jessie: A banquet? (both their stomachs growl)
Everyone: We'll do it!
Rita and Sue: Hooray! Then let's be on our way!
(Our heroes and villains soon follow Rita, Sue and the Diglett to their home)
Rita: This is the village we were telling you about. Diglett Village.
(Soon, our heroes see the banquet is all prepared)
Rita: And here's the banquet that we promised you.
Sue: Well, I guess it's time to dig in.
(As Sue talks, some masked men come dancing in)
Jessie: Yum! Looks good!
James: Aren't you forgetting something?
Jessie: What do you mean?
James: Dining with the enemy.
Meowth: Yeah, we'll be feasting with our foes.
James: Right, and just look at them.
(Team Rocket looks over to our heroes, then consider what to do)
Meowth: Well, twoips or no twoips, heroes or no heroes, it's a shame to let all dis food go ta waste.
James: We could ignore them.
Meowth: Who desoives dis grub more? The illustrious Team Rocket, or dem?
Jessie: That settles it.
(Jessie starts chowing down)
Jessie: This IS yummy! Please pass the salt, I haven't had this in ages.
Ben: Coming right up!
Jessie: Thank you. Oh no, the guitar girl is eating it all.
Meowth: No, she's not.
(Dora takes a bite from her taco)
Stitch: Ooh, coconut cake!
(Stitch starts gorging down the whole coconut cake and guzzling down the pot of coffee)
Liam: (sighs)
Lilo: Pass me the pineapple teriyaki burger!
(Soon, the feast is finished)
Ash: I'm stuffed.
Ben: No more for me, thanks. I'm full. (burps) Excuse me.
Rita: Is there anything else I can get you all?
Jessie: A stretcher, and someone to carry me.
James: Would a simple antacid be too much trouble?
Rita: No, I'll got get one for you.
Brock: Wait, you're not leaving, are you?
Rita: It's getting late, and we need to get home. But don't worry, the mayor will take over from here.
???: Ah, yes. We are most pleased that you've joined us.
???: Welcome and thank you so much for being here.
(Everyone removes their masks)
Ash: They're all so old.
Ben: Is this a village full of elderly folks?
Brock: Who are those men?
Rita and Sue: We present the mayor and the town council.
Councilman #1: Thank you, Sue and Rita.
Sue and Rita: You're welcome. Our pleasure.
Councilman #1: You two are most helpful. We appreciate it.
Councilman #2: Yes. Now that you all have full stomachs, we would like to ask one simple favor after feeding you so well.
Council: And after that meal we fed you, how can you possibly say no?
Ash: Of course, we want to help. Just tells us what we can do.
Councilman #1: We, need a rocket.
Jessie and James: A rocket?
Jessie: Then prepare for trouble!
James: And then make it double!
Jessie: To protect the world from devastation!
James: To unite all peoples within our nation!
Jessie: To denounce the evils of truth and love!
James: To extend our reach to the stars above!
Jessie: Jessie.
James: James.
Jessie: Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!
James: Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!
Meowth: Meowth, dat's right.
Councilman #1: Not a rocket.
Team Rocket: Goodbye.
Councilman #1: No, we don't need a rocket.
Ben: (in thought) Odd, that's what I thought he said.
Councilman #2: True. We have no desire to fly into space.
Jessie: Well, what, then?
Councilman #1: I must not be making myself clear. I know! Yes! Racket!
Councilman #2: Right! A tennis match!
Councilman #1: No, not that.
Councilman #2: A basket?
Councilman #1: It's too late for a snack right now, and I fear that we're leaving our friends down another confusing path.
Councilman #2: You're right!
Councilman #1: Robot? Roper?
Councilman #2: This isn't a rodeo!
Jessie: That's enough. You all need serious help!
Councilman #1: You said help. Help. That's it! A helper!
Ben: You mean someone's been causing a racket in the village and you need a helper to take care of the problem?
Brock: Ah! Is that it?
Councilman #1: Yes! Brilliant! We need a helper.
Councilman #2: And you are perfect for the job.
Ash and Misty: We are?
Brock: Help with what?
Ben: I just said, I think someone's making a racket in the village and we have to find out who, but what kind of racket.
???: Hold on!
(Everyone looks out and sees a masked man riding on a Dodrio)
???: Don't listen to those old fools! They'll just talk you in circles until you're as confused as they are!
(Our heroes rush outside)
Ash: Who are you?
Ben: (in thought) Some kind of Kamen Rider side character?
???: We're a band of Diglett thieves known as the Band of Diglett Thives!
(Soon, more of said thieves appear on Dodrio as Team Rocket comes out)
Jessie: Now there's an original name.
???: We used to be known by a much more creative name, but those old fogies in their just kept getting confused.
Misty: That makes sense.
Ben: But what are you doing here?
???: See those Diglett there are your feet? After they've evolved into Dugtrio, they become the world's greatest earth movers. So we pay those old codgers a little visit once a year to steal them for ourselves!
Pikachu: Pika! Pika! Pika! ("You're not getting these Diglett!")
???: This year's crop of Diglett seem plump and healthy. We'll be back for them tomorrow. Farewell!
(The thieves ride off)
Brock: Thieves that book in advanced?
Misty: That's very, considerate.
Ben: Maybe we can get some more information on these thieves from the council.
(Back inside...)
Councilman #1: For many years, we have coexisted happily with the many Diglett in our area as they helped us to cultivate our fields.
Councilman #2: We would like to continue to raise our crops and stay in our homes.
Councilman #1: But it's been hard, now that our children have left our village for the bright lights and excitement of the city.
Councilman #2: The only young ones we ever see are Sue and Rita, and the Band of Diglett Thieves.
Councilman #1: We dearly love Sue and Rita, but those thieves are a big problem. By stealing all of our strongest and healthiest Diglett every year, we are not able to grow enough food for our village.
Ash: How were you able to make that giant feast for us?
Councilman #2: That one might possibly be our last.
Councilman #1: If you won't help us, we have no other choice but to consider you thankless and insensitive.
Mugi: Me, thankless and insensitive?!
Ben: Please mind what you say around my beloved.
James: I'm sorry, but did he just say thankless and insensitive?! I have never heard anything so insulting in all of my life!
Meowth: Really, James? I hoid that one a million times.
Jessie: Not true. We may have our, selfish moments, but I'd like to think that we would never ignore someone in need who had just given us a banquet.
Meowth: But sometimes we like to eat and run.
Jessie: (punches Meowth) Quiet.
James: This red rose symbolizes the red blood that runs through all of us! It knows not of good or evil. It is true I am a member of Team Rocket, but I am also a Pokemon trainer with a burning desire to help my fellow man! I will rise to the call of the rose within my heart and do whatever is needed of me! Or at least give it my best shot.
Misty: Do you mean it? You're actually going to help some old people just because they fed you?
Ben: Help the elderly, that's a rule of the boy scouts!
James: Exactamundo!
Rita and Sue: Oh, that's great! Thank you!
Brock: And I vow to protect you all, from those...thieves!
Ben: As a member of the PDU, it's my job, regardless of what happens beforehand.
Ash: I'll help, too!
Misty: So will I!
Miki: Count me in!
Pikachu: Pika! ("Me, too!")
James: Are you with me?!
Jessie: You know I am!
Jessie and James: Alright!
(As Jessie and James talk, Meowth sits, baffled, before just rolling with it)
All heroes: Who's that Pokémon? It's Sandshrew!
(Back to the show)
(Later, James soon has the whole area mapped out)
James: This is our present location, and here is our enemy. The Band of Diglett Thieves numbers more than fifty, according to the Sky Patrol from their recon flight, while at last count, our ranks consist of twenty senior citizens, three members of Team Rocket, a PDU Agent and a group of twenty-three for a total of forty-seven.
Ben: Nearly even odds, but still risky for a one on one confrontation because we're three short.
Brock: It seems obvious that we shouldn't try to face them directly. Without those three, we don't stand much of a chance for an even fight.
James: Check, and that is why tonight, we must put aside our differences and commence Operation: No-No, Dodrio!
Yui: No-No, Dodrio?
Azusa: What do we do?
Ben: So some of us go behind enemy lines and scope out the place before doing damage? Whatever you say, general.
Miki: Well, I don't know...
Misty: That sounds dangerous.
James: It is, but only for that group of brave souls that have been selected for this mission. You lot and the Diglett, and we thank you very much for your courage!
Brock: Yes, sir.
Jessie: When was it that those folks were chosen for this mission?
James: They have more experience and it was when this mission became scary! Anyway, you'll sneak up and release the enemy's main mode of transport, Dodrio.
Ash: Yes, sir!
Misty: I may feel bad for those Dodrio, but it looks like we have no other choice, sir.
James: Correct, we have no other choice if we all wish for those Diglett to live in this village another day.
Ben: Understood! Permission to lead the mission, sir?
James: Permission granted.
Everyone: (salutes) Good luck!
(And so, Ben leads the squad on their potentially dangerous mission while Team Rocket and the Diglett watch them depart)
Jessie: I hate to say it, but I almost feel bad about sending those heroes while we relax.
James: No relaxing! We'll be busy digging pitfall after pitfall around the town's perimeter. We will enlist every single Diglett in this village and create an impenetrable pitfall defense!
(Soon, all the elderlies and Diglet start digging)
Jessie: Wow. For a group of old duffers, they've really got lots of energy.
???: Ah. Those young'uns are in their prime. I'm a hundred and twenty.
Jessie: No! That's over ten times my age!
Meowth: Now where did you loin dat math?
Jessie: Get back in the hole!
James: Gee, I wonder how the troops are faring.
(Meanwhile, our heroes are behind enemy lines)
Pikachu: Pika. ("All clear.")
Azusa: Pikachu says we're clear.
(Our heroes race through the streets, but soon hide when they spot a the leader of the Band of Diglett Thieves)
Brock: That guy must be their ring leader.
Ben: That would be my guess.
Ash: Yeah, and I betcha he must be standing guard over the Dodrio pen.
(Pikachu soon spots something and alerts the others)
Ash: Hey, what is it, Pikachu?
(Ash looks and sees Sue talking to the leader of the thieves)
Ash: Hey, it's Sue!
Brock: Where?
Ben: Sue? This can't be.
Brock: Wow. What could she be doing with these guys?
Ash: Beats me.
Misty: Weird.
Ben: Pretty suspicious if you ask me.
Miki: I don't get it. Why would she be talking to the leader of those bad guys? You don't mean that she's a...a...a...double agent or something, do you?
???: Hey, you guys!
(Our heroes look and see Rita behind them)
Rita: What are you doing?
Misty: It's Rita.
Ben: I wonder if she's in with this band of over fifty thieves, too.
Liam: I think it's time we make a tactical retreat.
(Our heroes try to do so)
???: Who goes there?!
Ben: Great! Trapped behind enemy lines like I'm in some Saving Private Ryan ripoff!
???: Hold it!
Rita: Oh! Mr. Mayor. These are the helpers, from before.
Mayor: Oh, I see. Sorry. (removes helmet) It's so hard to see with that darn helmet on my head.
Ash: You're the, mayor?
Ben: Talk about a plot twist!
(Soon, Diglett start popping up as the mayor explains himself)
Mayor: Oh, yes. I see. Terribly sorry to have startled you. (to the townsfolk) Okay, guys. This time we'll do it without the Dodrio, alright?
(The townsfolk agree)
Ash: This is really weird.
Brock: Let me see if I have this straight. All of you are actually the children of those old people?
Rita and Sue: And grandkids!
Misty: Then, why would you steal their Diglett?
Mayor: It's simple.
Misty: Well, tell us.
Ben: Yeah, because some of us are lost.
Mayor: There was a time when all of this land was nothing but a wasteland inhabited by a great many Diglett. Because of the difficult lives our parents were forced to lead, they befriended the Diglett in order to get help cultivating their fields. And in time, their labors were rewarded. Their fields overflowed with a bountiful harvest and stories of their success were told all over the Whirl Islands. Once Diglett evolve into Dugtrio, they can even change the desert from brown to green. It's thank to their work that this has become such a beautiful place. Now to show gratitude to our mothers and fathers, we built them a retirement home where they can live in comfort and peace.
(We soon see our heroes, the mayor and Rita and Sue standing before the very place)
Mayor: It has every possible luxury and amenity they could ever want or need. It compares with any four star hotel in the world.
Misty: Wow. I'd love to stay there.
Ben: Maybe when you're time as a Pokemon trainer ends and you have grandkids.
Mayor: Oh, well. Those old men and women wouldn't have any of it.
Misty: Huh? I wonder why.
Mayor: They said they would rather live the rest of their lives, continuing to work together with the Diglett as they plow the land and protect their village.
Brock: Amazing.
(Sucy then sees a woman familiar to her)
Sucy: Mom. (sees that she vanished) Oh, she's not really here.
Ace: You okay, said.
Sucy: I thought I saw- (sighs) Never mind.
Mayor: It seems long ago there were many Diglett thieves who caused them all sorts of problems. They were constantly on guard and working to keep those thieves away. They think that defense is the key to their longevity.
Misty: So, now, you're the thieves?
Mayor: Yes, the Diglett thieves disappeared quite a long time ago. So, we just decided to take over invading the village every once in a while to help keep those old folks in tip-top shape. We're very careful, of course, that no one is ever hurt.
Brock: I wish you would've told us about this a little sooner.
Sue: But think about how our grandparents would feel if they knew.
Rita: This has become a way of life for them, protecting their homes and defending their land.
Ash: I think I get it.
Pikachu: Pika. ("Me, too.")
Mayor: But it'll only work if they believe it. Your Pikachu should give it everything it's got. We have made very sure that no one will get hurt.
Ash: But, you know. Pikachu's Thunderbolt attack is really strong.
Ben: Just ask the leader of the Orange Crew, his Dragonite was taken down by one of that little mouse's electrical volts.
Mayor: Let's try. (puts helmet on)
Ash: Are you sure?
Mayor: Give me your best shot.
Ash: Uh.
Pikachu: Pika. ("I don't...")
Mayor: Do it.
Ash: Okay, then. Pikachu, Thunderbolt!
(The attack launches, strikes the helmet and veers into different directions before Pikachu lands and the mayor removes his helmet)
Mayor: You see? Shock proof. (pounds on the chest of the armor) And it's blast proof. So you don't have to worry about a thing.
Everyone but Ash: Great!
Ash: We'll do our best.
Pikachu: Pikachu! ("We sure will!")
(Azusa soon notices that someone's missing)
Azusa: Hey, Ritsu, have you seen Mio-senpai?
Ritsu: She may have gotten herself lost finding lefties or something. I'll go find her.
(As Ritsu set off to find Mio, we cut to her spotting a shy boy who looked the same age as her with his Venusaur by his side, she soon started to space out)
Ritsu: You okay, Mio? You look totally spaced out.
Mio: (jolts) It's nothing.
Ritsu: Don't lie to me, something's up.
(Azusa, Liam and Xatu come into view)
Liam: Mio, why aren't you with the others?
(Mio was too focused on a boy who was looking at her)
Ritsu: Wait. If she's looking at him, and is totally spaced out, does that mean that Mio's... got a crush?
(A long pause, until Azusa stifles a laugh)
Azusa: (MEEP)
Ritsu: Azusa! This is serious!
Liam: Please don't laugh!
Xatu: (telepathically) "You'll upset Mio, and we don't want that!"
Azusa: Sorry. (regains composure) Anyway, you could've told us sooner about your apparent crush.
Mio: You knew?!
Liam: Of course. Now what are you waiting for. Go and introduce yourself.
Azusa: Yeah, we'll even go with you.
Mio: Well. Alright.
(Mio walks up to the boy)
Mio: Excuse me?
???: Yes? Can I help you?
(The young boy is surprised by Mio's looks and even blushes a bit)
???: Wow. You remind me of my mother when she was younger.
Mio: I do?
???: Yeah, you have the same long, beautiful hair. Uh. M...My name's Timothy. And this is my Venusaur.
Mio: My name's Mio. Mio Akiyama. And these are my friends Ritsu Tainaka, Azusa Nakano and her boyfriend, Liam Hammerfield.
Liam: And this is Xatu. Hi.
Azusa: Hello, Timothy.
Ritsu: Nice to meet you.
Xatu: "Greetings."
Mio: Tell me a bit about yourself, Timothy.
Timothy: Well, like my mother, I love to garden, so I have a bit of a green thumb. Though my only grass Pokemon is a Venusaur.
(Suddenly, Sprout materializes on her own)
Mio: Sprout? What are you doing?
Timothy: I had no idea you had a Venusaur, too.
(Sprout starts cuddling next to Timothy's Venusaur)
Mio: Wow. I never thought I'd see her act like this.
Timothy: Your Venusaur's a girl? Wow. Mine's a boy.
Mio: It is? I guess Sprout really likes your Venusaur.
Timothy: Looks like it. So, uh.... Tell me about yourself, Miss Akiyama.
Mio: You can call me Mio if you want.
Timothy: Oh. Right. Mio. So, tell me about yourself.
Mio: Well, I...
Ritsu: Well, Timothy. There's one thing you should know about Mio here, scary stuff isn't her thing. Why, she practically freezes up when you tell her about the time a boy cut his foot on a corn barnacle and found his kneecaps covered with them! Or when she went into the woods outside one of the summer homes of our friend, Mugi, and got freaked out when she saw Sawako and thought she was a zombie!
(Liam, Xatu and Azusa got very annoyed at Ritsu for scaring them with her horror and gory stories)
Azusa/Liam/Xatu: (in unison) Ritsu!!
Azusa: Not only have you scared Mio-senpai...
Liam: But you also scared Timothy too!
(Xatu started pecking Ritsu's head)
Ritsu: OW! (x2) What did I do? Cut it out, Xatu! That hurts!
Xatu: (telepathically; annoyed) "Good!"
(Ben and Mugi show up)
Ben: What's going on over here?
Ritsu: Oh, Ben, Mugi. You're just in time. Mio just made a friend.
Timothy: My name's Timothy. Timothy Gardner.
Ben: Nice to meet you, Timothy. I'm Benjamin Joseph Rockefeller. And this is my beloved, Tsumugi Kotobuki.
Mugi: Hello. And you can call me Mugi.
Timothy: Sure. I have to say, your friend, Mio, is as pretty as my mother when she was younger.
(Mio soon starts blushing a bit)
Mio: Well, that's very kind of you. And... well....
Ben: (in thought) Wait. I sense something in her. I know it. I can see what's happening. But do they have a clue? They'll fall in love and here's the bottom line. They were each one, but will be two. (aloud) Uh, Mio. Is it alright if Mugi, Liam, Azusa and me have a little word with you? And Ritsu, you talk with Timothy.
Mio: Uh, okay.
Ben: Excuse us, Timothy. Nice Venusaur, by the way.
Timothy: Thanks.
(The four soon pull Mio aside)
Mio: What is it?
Ben: I may not be an animal, but I got instincts. And judging from the way you were blushing around that boy, I can tell you two like each other. I can FEEL it.
Mio: Well, Ritsu, Liam and Azusa kinda know already.
Ben: That's why I'm having Ritsu talk with Timothy.
Liam: We know that look on yours and Timothy's faces.
Azusa: Liam's right. We all had the same looks on each other's faces at one point.
Ben: Like me and Mugi when we had a crush on each other.
Azusa: Or when I fell in love with Liam.
Liam: Or when Ace was head over heels for Miki.
(Over to Ritsu)
Ritsu: Tim, can I call you Tim?
Timothy: Uh, sure.
Ritsu: Listen, Tim. I saw that look on yours and Mio's faces. I have a feeling she likes you.
Tim: Likes me?
Ritsu: Dare I say she might have a crush on you.
Tim: (blushes) She does?!
Ritsu: Don't worry, Mugi and Azusa did when they fell in love. It's only natural.
Tim: I guess so. My mother did say that the right one will come along, but I wasn't expecting her to look the same as my mom.
Ritsu: They say love is the strangest thing, but listen. You gotta work up the courage to tell Mio those three little words, and so does Mio.
Tim: You really think I can?
(Cut over to Ben and the others)
Ben: Listen, Mio. This is your chance. I can just see it. I mean, he's practically a male version of you. Only he doesn't play bass like you.
Liam: You just have to come up with the courage to tell him those three little words.
Azusa: Once you do, it only gets easier from there.
Mugi: Take it from me. It really does.
Mio: You really think I can?
Ben and Ritsu: Of course. But you've got till the end of our business around here, because you might not get this chance again.
(Mio and Tim both ponder. The next morning, James is seen looking out over the horizon when he spots something in the distance, the thieves)
James: They're not riding on Dodrio! Our battle plan worked!
Meowth: Dose guys pulled it off.
Jessie: Alright! Prepare for battle!
(The thieves charge, but two land in a pit, followed by two more as James watches on)
James: Yes! The traps are working like a charm!
(Soon, the other side charges in)
Jessie: Alright, Arbok, let's go!
Wobbuffet: Wobbu! ("HOOOOLD IT!")
(Thanks to Wobbuffet's interference, the thieves plow right over both it and Jessie before the combat begins. Up on the perch...)
James: Look! (spots out heroes) It's the heroic troops!
Misty: Awesome! It's working!
Ben: Both sides are in combat!
Ash: This is great! Let's get in the act, too.
Mio: (in thought) I just hope Timothy doesn't get hurt.
Ash: Cyndaquil, I choose you!
(Cyndaquil materializes and fires a Flamethrower at a thief, but it gets doused by a water sprayer while Misty's Poliwhirl materializes)
Misty: Poliwhirl, Water Gun!
(The attack fires, but the targeted thieves bring out shields while the Diglett take care of most of the thieves, causing the elders to celebrate and chase off the remaining thieves)
Tim: What should I do?
Mio: Let me deal with this. (gets out Pokéball) Cindy, I choose you!
(Cindy, her Quilava materializes)
Tim: She has a Quilava?
Azusa: Let's all help Mio-senpai!
Liam: Yeah! (gets out Pokéball) Typhlosion, let's go!
(Typhlosion materializes)
Typhlosion: RAAA KAA!!
Azusa: Ton-chan II, go!
(Ton-chan II materializes)
Ton-chan II: Carra!
Azusa: Use Hydro Pump!
Liam: Use Flamethrower, Typhlosion!
(The attacks fire, but the thieves block them)
Brock: Go, Crobat! Super Sonic!
Ben: You, too, Alucard!
(Crobat and Alucard do so, while the leader puts on headphones to block the sound)
Councilman #1: Ah! Hear that?
Councilman #2: I always love that sound.
Councilman #1: I! Feel! Great!
Councilman #2: Yahooey!
Councilman 1 & 2: Now that's a sound we love!
(Some of the other elders and some of the thieves fall over in disbelief as the two start dancing)
Misty: What? Old bats?
Ben: I wouldn't say that around Alucard. He may be old, but he's still got plenty of flight left in him.
(Soon, the flag of truce is shown to be flying)
Ash: A white flag?
Ben: Yep. Looks like the thieves are flying the flag of truce.
Mayor: Though it grieves me to say it, we surrender. But make no mistake, we'll be back. And next time, we will capture all of your village's Diglett! Mark my words!
Ben: Consider them marked!
(As the mayor and Ben talk, a Diglett pops in on a thief in one of the holes)
???: Ah. (pets the Diglett) Give my loves to gramps and grandma, would ya?
Mayor: Farewell!
Jessie: Hold your Horsea!
(Everyone looks up and sees Team Rocket in their balloon)
James: You're not going anywhere!
Meowth; We gotta make sure yous creeps never bother dose nice old folks again!
Jessie and James: Let's go!
(Jessie and James soon toss and drop bombs everywhere)
Ash: Hey, wait a minute! Stop!
Misty: Cool it, Ash. Be careful or you'll ruin the whole thing.
Ash: I know you're right, Misty, but, I gotta do something!
Ben: He's right, otherwise it'll be like Pearl Harbor all over again! Evasive action!
(Everyone scatters, when Tim suddenly trips and his helmet falls off)
Tim: Oh no!
Mio: Tim!
(Mio rushes in to protect the boy)
Tim: Mio?
Ben: Mio, what are you doing?!
Mio: I won't let you harm this boy. He's too precious to be attacked!
Cindy: Quil Quil Quilava! ("This is too far!")
James: Meowth, translate what Quilava is saying?
Meowth: Dat Quilava's sayin' dat dis is too far. Well, if you want to get rid of roaches, you gotta bomb em!
Mio: Cindy. You really want to protect him, don't you?
(Cindy let out a loud roar that echoed through the area)
Mio: Cindy...?
(The flame on its head grew larger and hotter)
Ben: Is that...?
(Cindy's body soon was covered in a blinding white glow of light, they heard the sound while being envelope in it)
Mio: No way!
Tim: Could that be?
Ritsu: Quilava's starting to evolve!
Sucy: Into a-!
Cindy: BWAAAAWWRRRROOOHH!! ("Feel my rage!")
Ben: Typhlosion!
Mugi: She evolved out of sheer will, thanks to Mio-chan's devotion to protect Timothy.
(Mio was mind blown of Cindy's sudden evolution, then she got out her Rotom Phone)
Rotom Phone (Mio's): Typhlosion, the Volcano Pokemon, a Fire type, and the final evolved form of Cyndaquil. When Typhlosion is ready to battle, the heat it generates from its blazing fur can create shimmering air hazes to hide itself.
Ash: I'm glad that Timothy kid's safe, but what about the others?
Mayor: Don't worry, Ash, we can care of ourselves.
Ash: Yeah, but...
Misty: What about the Diglett?
(The Diglett start ducking for cover)
Brock: They're in trouble!
Ash: Well, here goes nothing. Hey! Team Rocket!
Jessie: Who said that?
(Team Rocket looks down and sees the origin of the voice)
Meowth: Da twoip.
James: What's he staring at? And what's the PDU boy scout doing?
Ben: I have to agree with Cindy, pitfalls are plenty, but this is too far!
Ash: Sorry. Pikachu, Thunderbolt!
Mio: Forgive us for doing this, use Blast Burn!
Azusa: Ton-chan II, Hydro Pump!
Liam: Typhlosion, help Ton-chan II and use Focus Blast!
(The attacks launch and fire at a shocked Team Rocket)
Team Rocket: What?!
(The combined attack power caused the rest of the bombs to explode.
Jessie: Even when we're good, it turns out bad!
Meowth: Maybe da bombs were too far after all!
Team Rocket: Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off again!
Timothy: Mio. You... You saved me.
Mio: It was nothing, really. I...
(But before Mio could say anything else, Timothy kissed Mio)
Tim: Sorry. Force of instinct.
Mio: (blushes) Tim. Is that... Is that your way of saying...?
Tim: (in thought) She knows?! Well, if there's no way around it, I'll have to spit it out. (aloud) Yes. Mio, I... I love you.
Mio: (in thought) He loves me! A guy actually loves me! Maybe I'll be married one day after all! (aloud) I... I love you, too.
(The two soon kiss again)
Ritsu: Looks like those two Venusaur meeting last night photosynthesized a relationship for those two little seeds of romance.
(Azusa stifled her laugh from that corny joke)
Azusa: (MEEP)
Ritsu: For once, I'm with Azusa on that one. (whispers into Mio's ear) Hey, Mio.
Mio: Huh?
Ritsu: Lyco-ping.
(Mio couldn't help but laugh at Ritsu's comment, then Timothy started cracking up, too)
Liam: You too, Timothy?
Azusa: I guess Brock was right two years ago. Remember what he said about the Butterfree migration, back when Ash had his Butterfree to look for a mate? When two Pokemon fall in love, their trainers will meet and they can fall in love too!
(A little later...)
Councilman #1: I feel sorry for those three cream pockets.
Brock: I'm sure they'd appreciate the nickname.
Ash: Guess they dug a hole...
Misty: They couldn't climb out of.
(Our heroes laugh)
Councilman #1: In this world, all sorts of crazy things happened all of the time. We never would've dreamed that those three could actually show some real compassion for our situation, but they did and we're forever grateful. And, of course, to you all as well. On behalf of our village, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
Councilman #2: So please accept this small token of our appreciation for all that you have done. (hands Ash a badge)
(Everyone is shocked by what they think it is)
Ash: A Silver Wing!
Ben: But I thought there was only one!
Councilman #2: It looks as though we were able to give you something that you truly like. This badge is actually made on Silver Rock Isle, one of the Whirl Islands. You should go there and see for yourselves.
Misty: How do we get there?
Councilman #1: There's a ferry in Transit Town that will take you there, directly.
Ash: What do you say, guys? It might be a clue to finding out about that mysterious Pokemon.
(Everyone agrees)
Sucy: We are so in!
Mio: Well, Timothy. You want to join us on this little adventure? We're traveling together and it would be nice to have you along.
Tim: Of course. And please, call me Tim.
Mio: Okay. Tim.
(Tim takes Mio's hand)
Tim: I don't care how far this journey takes me, because wherever you go, I'll go with you.
Mio: And me with you.
(We soon see our heroes on the ferry for Silver Rock Isle)
Narrator: And now our heroes are just one boat ride away from the secrets of the Silver Wing. But will this also lead them to the mysterious Pokemon they long sought after? Time will surely tell.
