Politoed is a Water-type Pokemon. In the anime, Misty owns a Politoed she obtained when it was a Poliwag in the Orange Islands. Since then she used it in many Pokemon battles. When it evolved into a Politoed with a King's Rock it stole from Ash's backpack, it became cheerful and friendly. It even cheered for Ash Ketchum when he was competing in the Johto region.
