Ponyville is a peaceful town in Equestria and the main setting for The FT Squad's Adventures in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Located in sight of Canterlot, it was the place where the Summer Sun Celebration was going to occur. Twilight Sparkle and the FT Squad were assigned to check on preparations, and after saving Equestria from Nightmare Moon, Princess Celestia allowed Twilight to stay in Ponyville with her friends to study the magic of friendship. The FT Squad, obliged by the warm welcomes the ponies gave, have considered extending their stay in the happy town.
